and they just barely clear the unibody, but they fit and that’s all that matters right now. Now the list of things to do has grown even smaller, all that’s left to do is.

carb

ignition system + 2step box

torque converter (already picked out just need to order)

mate the 700r4 to the sbc and install it for hopefully the last time

fuel system (may not happen fully until later)

engine wiring and plumbing (should be stupid easy)

custom made driveshaft

exhaust system (should not be stupid easy)

and the most important piece of all the hood scoop

So I’m saying maybe another month or two and hopefully it’ll be a running driving car, now how well it will run and drive will be up for debate.

I replaced the carb on my small block with a fitech fuel injection setup. No more 4 barrels for me, I would do the fitech again in a heartbeat.

New (front) brakes are in, ratty paint under old leaky MC redone in POR15. New MC is beach bled and installed. Just have to bleed out and pump grease in the hubs and she’s back on the road. I’m sure there will be no difficulties.

Those headers are porno by the way.

So, brakes successfully (I think) bled, hubs greased.

Only odd thing is the passenger side (not pictured) oozes a little  grease out the hole whenever I spin it. Should I worry about it? I’ll probably take it for a short test drive and see how much comes out.

Successful test drive, pull to the left under braking is gone. Pedal is still a little softer than it should be, probably needs more bleeding. But back on the road!!
